Podstawowe informacje

In the years 2016-2022, she managed a research grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education within the program „Diamond Grant”, regarding the use of mineral dyes among the Epipalaeolithic/Mesolithic and Neolithic communities in areas from the Levant to the Carpathian Basin. Currently she is a co-leader in the E-RIHS project regarding pigments from the Orońsko flint mine. She is employed at the Institute of Archaeology, Jagiellonian University as an assistant.

Scientific interests

  • use of mineral pigments by Epipalaeolithic/Mesolithic and Neolithic societies;
  • application of laboratory methods (mainly SEM-EDS) in archaeology;
  • cultural changes at the turn of the Epipalaeolithic and early Neolithic in the Near East.
